The doors stay as they were

The congregation of the New Vibe City Community Church voted to become a gathering of The Church of The Knowing of The Good.

Nothing about the building changes. We meet in the same room on Faith Lane. The Thursday food pantry opens at nine, as it has for thirty-one years, and it is still the part of the week most of us would defend first.

What changed is the reason we give. We no longer say that good is good because it was commanded. We say it is good because it is good, and that you already knew.

Michael Osei, who preached here for forty years, is the gathering's first Speaker. Anyone may come. Nobody is asked what they believe about God at the door.
